I am having the most trouble iv ever had trying to install a second hard drive ... my computer is an hp pavilion a1620n the second hard drive is used because i need to get niformation off of it to put onto my primary hard drive.. but if it will not work like that i can format it no prblem if thats what i have to do. but my computer has one master and one slave hookup. the master is connected to DVD ROM and the slave was empty..My primary hard drive is hooked up with 2 little cords it must be a new way because iv never seem them hooked up like this.. but i hooked up the second hard drive to the slave and the computer was reading it in the boot menu and in device manager but I cannot access it and also sometimes the computer would boot off the second hard drive and not my primary one. So if anyone know what might be the problem could you please let me know thatnk you
