Wireless Laptop will connect to Router but no

Hello, I Have two computers in my house. One which is directly wired to the router] which the internet works fine on but just recently my sisters Laptop (wireless) had a update (BOth Vista) and she says the internet hasnt worked since. I've tried checking to see if the settings were checked for obtain IP and DNS Automatically and they were. I've tried all the solution I could find on here with no luck. Please help Im tired of her annoying me lol.
