A disk read error occured

Hello, Ihave a problem with my hp laptop A disk read error occured, i cant recover it beacause when i do it will hang at the backround and i cant do anything all i can do is move the mouse pls help me what should i do? btw my hp product is G62-144DX
and btw.. before that happens my laptop fell and the n i used it for like 2hr.. then it hangs
then i hold the power on to shut off then open it again then the error happend ps help me!!
