Inceasing internet speed

currently i am using the aircel pocket internet service to surf the internet in my pc...i hav a software called SC net speed booster.can i use this software to increase my net speed???does this kind of attempt harms the system or these are totally safe and usefull for increasing net speed????or is there any other way i can increase my net speed with???am eagerly waiting for productive repsonse.....thanks ......sourav
