Hello,
I have an NVidia FX 5200 128 MB VRAM. Last night my monitor suddenly went black, with the led turning on and off. I unplugged the comp. Today, when i turned it on, it had the same problem, black monitor with turning on and off led... The monitor is now plugged into the incorporated video controller. I tried to take the video card out, clean it, but no use... I hope someone can help me.

Thank you!

Dear Sir,

Please confirm whether the problem is not coming from faulty graphic card, RAM stick or motherboard. Yet also consider whether the 15 pin monitor cable is not faulty too.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and thanks for the response.

I think it's coming from the graphic card, but it's also possible that it's coming from the RAM stick, because i had some problems with it in the past, pretty much like this time, but then the problems went away with a restart, eventually taking out and reputting the stick back. Now it won't work anymore. I am also pretty sure that the cable is not at fault, because it works with the motherboard hole (not sure how is that called).
