HP DV6 8334UK bar hasn't been working

Hello, I have a HP DV6 8334UK. They have a touch where the off button is, which features the Mute button, Volume control and WLAN. Since yesterday the bar hasn't been working, and i don't really know why this has happened. If there's a way of activating or deactivating it then can somebody please tell me...thanks.

Hi there,

Just clean it with a piece of cloth and restart your laptop .

I've already tried that, but its still not working.

All the lights are still lit. It just seems as if he touch has been deactivated some how.

Hello tom.

Make a system recovery ,save your data as it will be lost,then press esc on boot,then press F11 and start recovery of laptop to default factory settings,if its a software issue it will be fixed else take to repair center and have it replaced.
