Bro files extensions are unreadable Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have a page by page handbook I need to edit for this years opening day in Sept.  I went to open the files and they have all been changed to a .bro file extension.  They are suppose to be word documents and they come up with a box that looks like mumbo-jumbo.  Are these files repairable? If so...how? Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

You do not have the appropriate application for opening these type of files. You should have the below applications installed before 

Tree Professional Broadleaf Creator 

OnyxTREE Broadleaf
