MY COMPUTER FAILED TO INSTALLING WINDOWS

Hello,
My desktop computer failed to installing windows xp after formating the previous windows which have been affected by viruses although it has spefic requirement [ RAM 512MB HD 40GB].I think the viruses remaining on the hard disk when i trying to re-installing windows my computer shown on screen file corrupted

No the viruses did NOT remain on the hard disk if you formatted it during the install of Windows. I suggest you try again. If that failes then you probably have either bad memory cards or a bad hard disk.
