Hello,

How can I have excel copy the entire row of data from excel file "sales" to another excel file called database if column N contains COMPANY. I've tried almost everything but nothing is working. Please help! How do i write this formula?

How about creating a pivot table in the database file with the sales file as the source. You can then filter the database file for the company you are looking for. If you really need a seperate copy the just filter the pivot table then select the output and copy and Paste Special, Values into the new location.

hi sir/madam...i am doing some work with the students result in excel...but I faced a problem..it is simple but I havn't got dat in my mind...i have students total marks.now I wanna get the 1st 2nd 3rd...so on position of student leads from highest to lower one...

Unable to change date format in Excel

Hello,
I have an excel worksheet with a date column, the format is set to dd-mmm-yyyy but the dates in the columns display as mm/dd/yyyy. If I double click in each individual cell and then move out of that cell the format changes and the dates appear correct. I have 24854 dates I need to change, I can't take time to double click in each cell. Any suggestions? Thanks
