Desktop missing Closed

Question

Hello, 
    I went in to delete my cookies,temp folders ect, and lost all my desktop icons. I tried everything from task manager new task explorer.exe to regedit I can not fix it explorer.exe is not found on my computer what do I do?


Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 8.0
