My laptop only turns on in safe mode. please

Hello,
I recently formatted my acer aspire one laptop due to virus. it was fine but now it wont turn on at all. it gives options to turn it on on safe mode or normally. but i cant turn it on normaly. what comes up is the windows logo and it loads and loads for ages but just stays that way.

any suggestions?

insert OS CD on your CD Drive & repair your current software

Use e scan anti virus full verssion And full scan your computer
