nvidia 220 1GB
windovs 7 ultimate

I have a problem.When i start call of duty 2 it works just fine, but 5 min. later my sreen turns of and dont responds to the computer.The computer is stil working but i cant shut it down. Can anyone help?

You machine may be new, but it doesn't matter.

I have checked the requirements and how much ram the game consumes and COD eats a lot of RAM in no time.

I suggest that you add another memory stick in order to reach 1.5 Gb ram for the symptoms you have described are definitely due to lack of live memory.

In the meantime, if you want to play a little longer then 5 minutes, begin the game with a clean slate:

1. Close all other applications.
2. Clean all of your temporary files.
3. Prevent all useless applications for running in the background at bootime. To help you identify those applications and to prevent them from opening, I suggest this handy little tool. Just download and run it:
