Cannot shutdown

Hello,

I know it is a bit funny situation but really it does not shut down. There should be many people who come around saying that their computer are automatically shutting down, but i am experiencing a different problem. When i shut down, it remains on the screen, you can turn off your computer now. I always have to force it to shut down by pressing the poer button, what can i do else? thanks in advance.
