No Audio Card Detected Closed

Question

Hello, 
 I recently reinstalled OS to my Acer Extensa 4220 laptop with XP Pro Service Pack 2.

But when i try to check the hardware specifications,
on Sound it is stated that " No Audio Card detected". 
i have tried to install sound drivers
what could be the problem? please help

Hi there,

The issue may be caused due to bad driver installation on system,as example you installed drivers of vista instead of xp .download the appropriate drivers for it from link below:
