Hi
If you are opening documents created from MS Word 2007 to lower versions of office like ver. Office 2k3 then you might need to install Microsoft Compatability Pack 2007 to open the file.

Also when you are creating any documents in Microsoft Office 2007 do not forget to save it in lower versions of MS Office. To do so, Click the MS Office icon menu located at the topmost part of the window, click save as then select word 97-2003 then type the filename you want to then save.

Thank you very much for your help, but my problem sitll now solved yet. What exactly happen is, my teacher sent me a word .docx from email. I have mcsoft office 2007 from my computer at home but for some reason i can't open her file. I just bought a software and installed it, but still can't open it. I did download the compatiilty convert as well, but still can't open the file. I don't know what happen.

tell me whats the exact error you have encounter when you attempt to open the file your teacher had send to you
