Laptop with white blank screen
Closed
Hello,
I have a problem with my laptop screen. When I switch on, it boot up but the screen is white and blank. To prove the booting is ok I connected external monitor and found laptop functioning properly except the screen. I am not sure how to fix it. Does a faulty inverter cause this problem? If i replace the inverter with new one can be my problem solved?
Many thanks

Hi Min,
This particular problem can be directly coming from its graphic card and you should try an alternative one to confirm whether it is the faulty component. Otherwise, it might be that the display cables to the monitor are damaged.
Thanks.

If the graphic card is not faulty, please confirm that its right compatible driver has been installed or whether it needs to be updated.
