Emachines e627 won't boot from a Linux CD.
Closed
I recently have gotten a Linux Ubuntu CD and I've been trying to put it in my computer and have it boot from the CD, but it refuses to boot from it. The CD is set as the highest priority on the BIOS and still nothing.
I've tried it from My Computer and all I get is "Permission Denied". (I'm running as administrator)
I have Windows 7.
Any help will be useful, thanks.

Hola, you need to make use of your Data/Boot recovery disk to settle down with this. As soon as you put the CD, it will start up your machine and when you are finished, you will be able to make the specific installation boot and have it installed completely. Cheers.
