Hello,
This seems to be a problem coming from corrupted material. Please turn off the iPhone and switch it on back. Then check the issue. If the problem is still the same, you will have to get the iPhone reset. You will not lose any of your files stored on it or any settings. Please note that if you do not get it resetting it, there will be more files that will get corrupted.
For getting it reset, please hold the Sleep button and press the Home button in the center simultaneously. It will then reboot and start working back correctly.
If ever the problem continues though, please indicate for further help.
