Notepad change background colours Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,  

Is it possible to change the background color of notepad? If yes, please help!
  
I am using Window 7 ultimate.

Hello,

 Download the Notepad++
 Install it. 
 Open the Notepad++ > Click on Settings > Select Style Configuration > Check the check boxes Enable global foreground color & Enable global foreground color
 Select your Foreground & Background color
 Save & Close.

cannot be change color in notepad. Not the same in command promt

Travid is right, you could have changed the color settings of your Command Prompt but in Notepad, there are no such features available.

Yes you can .
Start==> Control Panel==>Appearances and Personalization
==>under Personalization open " Change window glass colors"

==>open classic view a pop up will appear then 
==>open "Advance Appearance setting"
==> from "Item" menu choose "Windows" 
==> choose or custom whatever color you like, then "apply" and "Ok".

this will change the page background on any windows program/application.
***DON'T PRINT WITH THIS FUNCTION ENABLE  it will use up your ink***
