pc hard disk cannot be format Closed

Question

Hello,  
 my pc hard disk cannot be format and it said have an error if i want to install a window  
and in that hard disk it have 5 partition and 2 from it the cannot be  
detected..even if i want to delete the partition also cannot.. 
can somebody help me...i just want to take the data in the hard disk in other partition 

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.8e
