gmail configuration for Samsung Corby Mate Closed

Hello, 

i am trying to configure the gmail account on my Samsung Corby Mate GT-B3313 and i am not able to configure. i followed all the procedure. it takes the pop and smtp and then says Checking and gets hung der... and after 5 mins of Checking it says disconnected from the server. please help me to Configure the gmail on my mobile phone.
