Memory card problem

Hello,
have inserted new memory card that advertises that it fits my sony experia, and when i switch phone on, it just says "No Sim card". Can any1 help???

Hi,

Do you always get this error when memory card is inserted?more information please,and what happens when the memory card is removed?have yiu tried another sim?
