Error in the OS

Hello,

My system's OS is windows XP and recently it was affected by virus from a pen drive and i installed AVG and scaned. After that procedure when i boot the system the welcome screen come it is staying too time and after that it showing a error message in the desktop ie, windows cannot find the file 'regsvr.exe'. make sure you typed the name correctly. please help me.
