Compaq Presario Pc screen goes black w/ cruso

Hello, I started my computer and everything is normal but when the screen where my desktop is supposed to appear a black screen with the cursor is there.please help me fix this

plus when the screen starts it says
explorer.exe-Application Error
The application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000022).Click OK to terminate application

Hello,

The error code which you have given indicates "Windows access denied"

I do not have the full story behind the problem, hence it is difficult to help. Did someone throw a curse on your machine?

I suggest that you insert your Windows CD and reboot for a repair.
