I have a little notebook laptop that is set up with Windows 7 Starter. I have been trying to connect it to my live-in job's wireless network. So far I have no problem connecting to the network, but it says there is to internet connection? It also states that the network is an "Unidentified network". There is a second network, but I cannot connect to it at all. Once I put in the passphrase it goes through the motions, but says that it cannot connect.
I have had no problems connecting to wireless networks anywhere else. I fact, I am using a Starbucks one right now.
The one at my Hotel/Job/Home is apparently working fine for everyone else who uses it though.
Do you have another network outside of that building that you can test? That will let you know if it's your computer or their network. Try that first! It could be that there network is faulty and they might need to fix it.
