security key Linksys E2000 Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, Ihave 2 laptops  on the router now. Trying to add a 3rd and I don't remember  sec. key. Is it on the router? If I plug-in erthnet cable will that bring it up.

If you currently have a PC that is connected via wireless you can download/run this program which will display the key ("password phrase").

dont have a keycode to unlock other pcs do u have one. it is a linsksys rouiter

You can reset the router to factory defaults.  Just use the "reset" hole in the back of the router.  Press a pen in the hole for 30 seconds, unplug the router wait 1 minute and plug the power cord back in.  You can find the Linksys default ID and key at their web site.
