Viao vgn-cr21s keyboard incorrect key

Hello,

half my keyboard is showing incoorect keys ie the P letter shows up as *- i have search forums and have done the norm ie languge settings and caps lock etc even delleted the standard ps/2 keyboard driver and reinstalled from new download / this is my sisters laptop and she insures me she has not split anything on it ???? been working on this for days now / updated norton scan/ also run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. windows vista is uptodate / I cannot let this beat me so any help is much appreciated
