Getting my hard drive to work

Hello,

im having a problem getting my new internal hard drive to work. it is a seagate 3.5 500GB. it plugs into the SATA port. but when i went to download windows on it, it told me it couldnt read the hard drive. it told me to go into the BIOS and go to the SATA port and open it. so i need to know how i can get into the SATA port, so if u have any information can u please help me thanbk u

hi,
you eed to get in the BIOS, for this, when you start up your pc, press F2, F8 or F12. in fact it varies ot each computer! from the BIOS you access the SATA port and activate the drive.
