Doc won't open in Word'07 after trial 2010

Hi,

Experienced a problem with word 2007.
Had a trial version of Word 2010 on my computer, but it has expired. Now the documents won't open in the 2007 version anymore, and it shows an error when i try to open them anyway..
my only option is to open them in word, but i'd like them to open automatically in Word 2007 when i click on the document..

My windows version: Windows 7

If anyone could help me please?

There are all kinds of Word 2010 items in the registry and they must be removed.
