Hp laptop problems

Hello,
i have hp pavilion dv4-1225dx , when i start my laptop the screen goes blank, initially fan starts but later on it nearly stops and caps lock and scroll lock keeps on blinking at an interval of 2 to 3 seconds............ did all the stuffs taking out the battery, pressing on the power button and so on.... but it didnt work for me...... can anyone help me out????? will be very greatfull.....
