I have ASPIRE 5738 laptop which I bought 18 month ago. I am having problem with its keyboard. The * button above 9 in numeric keypad does not work while typing .If however i press it several times it may start working but in that case * goes on appearing on the screen continuously infinite times until I press any other key like "enter" or "backspace ' etc.
When I ' power on' the laptop a beep sound starts as if the * key is kept pressed and stops only when any other key is pressed .This sound sometimes stops by its own.The problem is as I guess with the * key. Due to some internal problem it remains as pressed .
