Graphics problem

Hello,
I have a compaq evo with the nvidia vanta 16 megs of video ram.I get pink shades in the faces and on the task bar and on all grey stuff on websites and stuff like that. I am running the computer through a panasonic projector it not the vga cable and i have tried the the compaq evo on another monitor

please help me!!

Projectors are very unforgiving in their connection to the PC. You have to choose a PC screen mode that is compatible with the projector. First research the EXACT screen modes that the projector can display. then change your PC to a screen mode (screen size and Frequency) that matches your projector.

yes i have found the correct screen size but i have also pluged the computer into another monitor and it still has the colour distilation ya no when you watch a video and the colour shading is not consitant and is pixalated but on this it is not a video because it dose it on the task bar ans start menue
