i have to exactly same problem. Has anyone another solution? i did a update to graphic and the webcam driver ...nothing works.

The most possible reasons why the webcam is acting up like this is surely because of the graphic card, its driver or still from the webcam's driver or software.
Please get to the Device Manager and see whether the Graphics card or webcam's driver needs to be updated. You will easily see a Yellow exclamation on it if it is not installed or if the driver needs to be updated. Right click on the driver and select Update.
Otherwise, it might be sourcing from the fact that there has been a corrupted file on the webcam software. Please remove the software completely via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and then get it re installed again.
