Operating System not found

Hello, when I go to turn on my Acer 3610 laptop I get the message "No operating system found. If i plug in an external drive I get the message "invalid drive specifications file not found C:\>". When I go into bios I can not access the Hard drive, floppy drive, or cd-rom?dvd drive. And in "MAIN" on bios I can not access F12 boot menu, d2d recovery, or net work boot. Can you please help me? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

You problems are indicative of a hard drive failure. I suggest you replace the hard drive and install a new copy of Windows.
