Windows 7 task bar icons(pictures)

Hello,
i just got a new laptop with windows 7 and yesterday when i scrolled over the icons on my task bar pictures came up with what was going on in my tabs but now when i scroll over it , it just comes up words do u know how to get it back? please help? thank you x
