THE ATAPI CD-ROM DOESN'T BOOT

Hello,I HAVE A ASK ABOUT ATAPI CD-ROM IN A AMERICAN MEGATREBDS MOTHERBOARD K7S8X P2.20 BIOS. THE ATAPI CD-ROM DOESN'T BOOT.WHEN I CONNECT THE CD-ROM THERE SHOW A MESSAGE ???IDE DRIVES INSTALLATION ERROR???
FOR BEST RELIABILITY & PERFORMANCE ,PLEASE CHANGE THE STAND ALONE SLAVE DRIVE TO MASTER.SYSTEM HALT...

I would change the jumpers on the drive to change it to "Master". Normally the jumper position is printed on the drive case.

yes i changed the jumpers and now everything is ok thanks
