Internal speakers not working!

My laptop's internal speakers don't work but when I unplug the headphones or the external speakers, the internal speakers work for a second then they stop. What can be causing the problem? Help, please!!!

Greetings,

The problem is apparently sourcing from the sound driver. Please reach the Device Manager and have the sound driver updated. This should fix up the problem.
