                    Hi,
try going to Help in the top left side of MSN and select "Check for updates...". If that's not there, select Help and choose About... and find what version you have and tell me. It could be something like 14.0.8117, but i may be wrong.
Also, what you can try is go to
www.ninite.com
and from here, look under the Messaging section (should be near the top of the page) and choose Messenger (the item in the whole list) and click "Get installer". Then open that and try what it gives you.
