UNABLE TO SETUP WINDOWS XP

Hello,

first of all , ihave acer aspire 5542g laptop and i wanted to setup windows xp in the begining i had a proplem : and i changed the sata configuration from ahcm to ide tjem the setup completed i formatted the partition then windows copied the files ( wich in the blue screen ) then it restarted then it gives me first boot from cd i dont press any ke because i completed this step before then it supposed to boot from hard disk tutomaticly to complete the setup it gives me black screen and restarts and it does the same thing every time ( i choosed the hard disk as a second boot device ) ( i choosed it as a first boot device ) no thing changed >< if any body knows please help me
