Here is the easiest way and it is certain to work:
Go through the following steps:
*Buy the license first.
*Download Key Update Tool, a utility provided by Microsoft to change the key of the Windows version installed.
*The download address is http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/3/7/83712767-395c-4327-8e87-38be7b0cf75f/KeyUpdateTool_enu.exe
*Double-click the utility will then check the system files.
*Enter the official key and click Next.
*Accept the license agreement and click Next.
*The key is legalized.
*Click Finish.
*Windows restarts.

Jeevan
I already given you the only possible solution. When you downloaded and installed the Windows update, Microsoft and Bill Gates, detected that you had never purchased your XP license, so now you get this counterfeit message.
There is also something that I must warn you about, If you do not legalize your license within 30 days after the first conterfeit message, the Operating system will be disabled and all you will get is a black screen

If you get the message that the key is already in used, it's because the Windows copy you have at the moment has already been installed on another computer and the license was good for only one machine. Do you know on which machine it was installed on?

Yes I have a gmail account but it's contrary to the Charter and very unsafe to publish it on the forum.
Had you known the machine on which Windows was previously installed and registered, there would have been a possibility to deactive the license on that computer and validate the license on your previous machine.
I sorry but you are marooned up the stream without an oar, in other words doomed and obligated to purchase a license. Since, XP is no longer on the market you would need to purchase Win 7 or change your OS to Linux which is free.
Good luck
