Laptop shuts down while watching video online

Hello,

When I try to watch videos online, my computer shuts down unexpectedly. I think it is related to how long the video is and maybe my laptop is overheating. This just started happening and it is really starting to get frustrating. Thanks for your help.

Does it happen any other time, like when you're NOT watching videos? because it could be that your laptop is getting too over-heated. that happens to my laptop a lot, because it sits on my lap & the air can't get out properly. try and sit the best way for the air to get out, & if it keeps on happening then maybe it isn't over-heating. oh well, at least you've ruled out something!
