Sims 3 launcher downloading bug problem

Hello,
I have the Sims 3, world adventures and ambitions expansion pack.Everything was perfect until I tried to download some items from the exchange.For 2 weeks of downloading, ther was no problwm.Today i tried and a message was shown:SIMS 3 LAUNCHER stop working.There was a debug thingy to be clicked and i tried and still cannot.Can u pls help????????????????????????????

I am having a similar problem. I have never had a problem downloading from the exchange but now all of a sudden after I downloaded a few items my launcher wont even allow me to get into the game it just stops and says Not Responding and freezes my computer.
