since you have 2 OS on your system then you can choose which to stay and which to leave.
first am sure you don't want to loose any of your files on the xp.so what you do first is to copy all the xp files to win7,AFTER THAT GET AN XP SOFTWARE ,BUT BEFORE STARTING CHECK THE SIZE OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL HARD DISK AND NO THE ON E WITH WIN XP .
NEXT RESTART UR COMPUTER AND INSERT THE XP SOFTWARE
FOLLOW THE PROCESS TILL U FINALLY ARRIVE @ CHOOSING HARD WARE TO INSTALL THE XP,THEN
AFTER Formatting is complete stop the process and remove the xp.
restart the system and enter into ur win7 then go and format ur hard disk where ur xp was b4 ,by then u ave load successfully win7 and gotten a new space for your system.
