Hi,

I have an requirement like need to open an excle workbook and make it as readonly false then copy some rows to dat workbook then again make it as readonly true and save it.
Is it possible by using Macros can any body help me please.

You can do this without using Macro.

Just protect the worksheet by password and it becomes read only. if you want to edit the sheet unprotect the worksheet and and edditing again protect it.
