Office serial

Hi,

I reinstalled office in my laptop but the serial key is not valid as before its a 2007 version which my dad purchased for me as i needed it for my projects,what shall i do ?purchase another one or continue trying the one i own?thank you for your help

if the key is for the same office software that you are trying to re-install and some how key is being rejected, you could contact MS. If the key is for some other version of office, then it will not work (even in 2007, home student etc edition would have different keys)
