I installed MusicMatch Jukebox 10 in Windows 10 a year ago (from the Internet). It worked perfectly, but recently it just stopped working. When I try to re-install it online I get the following message:
"mmjb.exe - System Error
The code execution cannot proceed because PX.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

I also have an MMJB 8 Installation CD but it won't open in Windows 10.
If you can help me, please keep it simple. I'm 84 and my stuff just doesn't work as good as it used to! Thanks

OK, put the disk in, and Right CLik over the EXE or INSTALLER file. Select "Troubleshoot Compatability", and select Win7. See if that will help. You have to love PLANNED obsolescence!!!! Thanks GE!

PLANNED obsolescence! Is it the same as planned parenthood or retirement at 65?

The computer does not react when I put in the installation CD. I cannot find EXE or INSTALLER.
What about the PX.dll business?

If the disk doesn't spin, then you have more issues than installing. Can you explore the disk?

I successfully installed Music Match Jukebox in Windows 10 and it is working perfectly. Thanks for your suggestions, but none of them worked. In the end I just had to figure it out for myself. Thanks for the responses.

My computer crashed, lost everything (since regained). I re-installed MMJB (from a disk) and it works fine (Windows 10). Footnote: the problem was caused by a company which reacted negatively every time I installed any product other than theirs. To prevent it from re-occurring, I did not re-open my account with them when my computer was up and running. For the record, I have documented proof of my claim. By the way, I first started using a computer in 1960 (57 years ago) when I was employed by the largest advertiser in the world. Thank all of you for your help. Problem solved.
