Recovery Disk Error Cannot format drive

Hello,

I need to recovery my Acer Aspire laptop, recovery CD loads via External DVD Drive, eRecovery Management starts and proceeds to Restore Partition....... then error comes up "Cannot format the object drive. Press OK to return... then says press OK to restart you computer.... any suggestions on how to format and recover my laptop?

This sounds like a hard disk failure. I suggest you find a good repair shop and have then run a diagnostic.
