Sony vaio pcg7154m broken wlan switch

Hello, please help.... for no apparent reason the wlan switch has gone all floppy and doesn't appear to do any thing... I can't switch the wireless on ...can anybody help ?? Can it be overiden

well thanks for the replies......any who....I,ve had the back off and bridged the gap on the wlan switch with some soldier wire.....and hey presto my wireless is now working.......happy days....

it looks like it had physically broken... so much for Sony quality..!!!

Hey Wolfy,
I tried the same I tried shorting the 2 dots with a wire but dont see the wifi light coming up. I am not sure if I am referring to the right ends. Do you have the board schematics so that I can be sure?
