Hello everyone
I want to reset my laptop to factory settings so I watched a couple of videos and read some articles they all say: "turn on your laptop then press f10 and then hit enter" when I do that it just starts up normally. The white text on my screen is a lot shorter than the the text on other peoples screen. What can I do? It came with windows 7 already installed and I didnt get a disc or a code or anything like that. Its about 3 years old so I dont have the manual (I know im an idiot) Its a VPCEB4X1E Sony Vaio. I dont have anything on it I want to keep exept Windows-

start up computer and immediately start tapping f10. This will take you to a black screen with white writing. Hit enter. The next screen gives you two options- hit the skip button. Next screen check the box and hit next. Your computer will be restored to it's factory settings in about 20min. Make sure your computer is plugged in.
