Ipod stuck on black screen

Hello,
my ipod was restored in dfu mode but after restoring it wont turn on its on the black screen stuck can anyone please help me

Greetings,

Try this to see if it will solve the issue

1 - Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button.
2 - Keep both buttons until the Apple appears.
3 - Then release only the top button but still hold the home button pressed.
4 - The iPod goes into recovery mode and then you can restore it via iTunes

i tried it after restore it says that my ipod is still in dfu mode and that i will have to recover it from itunes and also the apple logo doesn't appear when i hold on the home and power key nothing appears no matter how long u hold it for

Simultaneously hold the top button + home (central) button around 15 seconds.

it still wont work but when i shift restore from itunes to 4.2.1 then the screen turns on but after the restore is complete on itunes it says that my ipod will restart but it never does it comes back to the black screen with no apple logo it gets stuck again even though i hold down the two buttons for around 15 seconds

Did you check that your iPod is not locked at the time of manipulation with the Hold button?
